Got up early today, and in honour of the guys out on the cold, wet and windy highways of Alberta, I ran longer than ever , in the wet, cold BC weather. Yes, it is not quite the same thing, but I like to imagine that in doing so, I can perhaps send my strength their way in spirit. Spirit’s in snot, so to speak, as only another runner/rider who has slogged it out on the cold /wet streets knows- the snot is usually just a drippin’ away! I’m a northern gal, born and raised, and I know what the area they are going to be riding through is going to feel like if the sun isnt shining – like hell froze over.
