Ode to my fellow bloggers, friends and readers…

“Here’s to the crazy ones.
 The misfits.
The rebels.
The trouble-makers.
The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them.
But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things. They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. “

~ Jack Kerouac

Couldn’t have said it better myself.  Someone please send this along to Gordo, will you?  : )

Perhaps now that Jack has caught on with the youngsters acceptance will follow, or not.

  2. Thank god! I thought I was the only crazy, forward thinking chic around! Good to know I am NOT a normal, run of the mill, head in the sand, butt in the air, let’s just go with the flow BC’er!

  3. Todays EKOS poll shows the Harpercons edging ahead once more. My jaw dropped when I read they were at 44% approval rating in BC. Confirmation, we live in a province full of crazy people, and not in a good way. So I decided that to be viewed as the crazy one in BC, doesn’t that translate to the sane one?

You are never alone Lynn, we are here by your side, trying to wake BC out of its opium hangover, to the atrocities that are being committed in our name.

  4. I’ll send it! I’ll send it! When the fight against Gordo is over we need to start reminding people that both Harper and Iggy support the HST.

I’ve always loved being a crazy one. Only thing is, you gotta get used to losing more than winning, but man, it feels good when you do win!

  5. Well, I was thinking of Vaughn Palmer and Bill Good when I posted this, whom I believe both referred to bloggers as ranting lunatics, nincompoops and conspiracy theorists.

Hey, Todd called me over the top this morning for pointing out that the Golden Ears bridge was a 2010 Olympic Initiative, as per VANOC and a bridge contractor who worked on it.

  6. I’ve been working on the new site this morning, and I would like to mention that we are looking for anyone who can assist in printing information sheets that can be posted up and handed out at high volume locations for a short time, like skytrain. More to be posted soon at the new site and a post coming here sometime today on the SFPR, in between grocery shopping and kid wrangling..lol.

  8. Many times I have read, Campbell, is not a true Liberal, but, a Conservative, from yester years. That he works for Harper. That Campbell is, purposely damaging, the Liberal Party name, to assist Harper to defeat Ignatieff, when the time comes? What is the next step, does the, anti-HST, go to referendum? I can’t believe, BC people would vote Conservative. Have they forgotten, Harper’s part of the HST? Do people not see, Harper and Campbell travel together? Had numerous, photo-ops? That Harper, even gave a speech, in the BC Legislature? They just spent, more time together at a, BBQ here in BC. They, work on China projects. To vote Conservative, is playing, right into, Campbell and Harper’s plot. What in the hell, are BC people thinking? To jump out of the fry pan, into the fire? It has even been said, if Campbell falls. Harper, will take Campbell east, to work with him. I am in disbelief.

  9. Psalm 2009 — FIRST BOOK OF GOVERNMENT

Campbell is the shepherd I did not want.

He leadeth me beside the still mills and shops.

He restoreth my faith in the Social Credit party.

He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line,

I shall fear no hunger, for his Olympic promises
    are with me.

He has anointed my income with taxes…HST being the latest

    My expenses runneth over.

Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the

    days of my life,

And I will live in a mortgaged home forever.

I am glad I am Canadian

I am glad that I am free.

    But I wish I was a dog ….

    And Campbell was a tree.

    Amen.
