“When the politicians complain that TV turns the proceedings into a circus, it should be made clear that the circus was already there, and that TV has merely demonstrated that not all the performers are well trained. ” ~ Edward R. Murrow.

And with that provocative quote, I leave you with this brief post for a bit. I’ve been working on an intense project and will be devoting all of my time to it for the next week or so, and quite frankly there isn’t enough of me to go around… 🙂

Of course, I’m still here, so I will be checking in and monitoring from time to time so feel free to read, comment and email as usual – just don’t expect any breaking stories until this wraps up!

  1. “Intense project…”

My mind conjures up the unearthing of a video, which shows Rob Ford and a notorious female BC politician sharing a crack pipe.

“We were just doing undercover research. We never inhaled!”

    I can dream, can’t I?

    1. Haha…. not quite along those lines… but rest assured I do not spend this much time on anything that isn’t very important. 😉

They blame the press for highlighting their own failures, insecurities, affectations and anything else they can blame the press for… when truly, they should be looking in the mirror.

  2. Another great quote, one the BC Liberals must have had pinned prominantly in every office in every riding and campaign headquarters around the province:
