And it couldn’t have come at a better time, in my opinion.

If you haven’t seen Sean Holman’s stunning new documentary, this is your chance.

CPAC

The Cable Public Affairs Channel is scheduled to broadcast Whipped: the secret world of party discipline this week following a successful series of screenings in British Columbia and Ontario.

Described by Independent MP Brent Rathgeber as a “fantastic documentary,” former MP Keith Martin has said it “should be viewed by all British Columbians and indeed all Canadians.”

So if you haven’t yet seen Whipped and discovered why our politicians so often act like “trained seals,” be sure to tune in to CPAC at the following times:

Thursday July 11th  (9:00 pm and 1:00 am ET)

Saturday July 13th (6:00 pm ET)

Sunday July 14th (9:30 pm ET)

*** updated July 12th – Whipped is now streaming online at CPAC for you to watch anytime at this link : http://www.cpac.ca/eng/programs/cpac-special/episodes/whipped-secret-world-party-discipline

  1. Everyone in Canada should watch this video, and especially the B.C. electorate. What I learned from it was that in order for us to have our voices heard, we must jump through all the ‘referendum hoops’, because Election Day votes don’t mean a thing if our elected representatives vote against their constituents’ wishes.

Another thing that became glaringly obvious was that a majority government becomes a dictatorship, effectively changing our system from a democracy to a plutocracy.
