Everyone in Canada should watch this video, and especially the B.C. electorate. What I learned from it was that in order for us to have our voices heard, we must jump through all the ‘referendum hoops’, because Election Day votes don’t mean a thing if our elected representatives vote against their constituents’ wishes.
Another thing that became glaringly obvious was that a majority government becomes a dictatorship, effectively changing our system from a democracy to a plutocracy.
